About Us
Why do we do what we do?
This year's theme:
Who is invited?
Trinity Church's VBS is a place where we are hoping to accomplish a few things...
-
Teach our kids about the love of Jesus Christ!
-
Provide opportunities for both our kids and our parents to interact with each other and get plugged in to the community!
-
To HAVE FUN together this summer!
Rome Underground
This year, our families are stepping into the world of Rome! They will get to meet Paul, who was a missionary of Jesus Christ, and hear how he accepted Christ!
Furthermore, they will get to learn about Roman culture during the time of the New Testament! This is through our family time, crafts, and other activities that we have scheduled throughout the week!
Kids AND Parents!
Parents, elementary-aged kids, and preschoolers are all welcome to come and participate in this event together!
We will have team leaders to oversee all children ages 2 - 12, inviting our parents to jump in and participate!
Furthermore, our parents will have an option to join us in our Parent Café during a portion of the evening as well!

Introductions & Worship
Introduction to the day, introducing the memory verse, and worshipping together!
Family Time
Go connect with your groups!
This is where the families split up into groups to practice the verse for the day and discuss the schedule together. Each family will assigned to a specific group at the beginning of the week and will stay with them each day! Your family leader will guide you to your group's unique meeting spot and will lead your group through the rotation times.
**Note: Our preschoolers (ages 2-5) will have their very own group. This group will primarily be staying in a classroom to have a unique, but more age appropriate experience!
Family Group Rotations
Family Groups will travel through three different locations to experience a unique activity!
-
Market Place
-
Crafts, snacks, and grammar school... each day will have a different selection of hands-on items that teach us more about the 1st century culture in Rome!
-
-
Paul's Jail Cell
-
Meet the character Paul from the Bible and his jail guard, Brutus as they discuss Paul's story and how he met God!
-
*Preschoolers will get to visit this station as well.
-
-
The Olympic Games
-
Compete against each other in water games, racing, and relays!
-
Parent Café!
Go take a break!
This is also where parents have the option to leave their kids with the family leaders and have their own time of interacting with each other, learning how to have intentional conversations with your kids, and eating good food! (Did I mention coffee?)
**Optional End time for Pre-school
For any of our families with pre-school aged children, you may choose to leave at 7:30pm. Or, you can stay for the bonus round that ends at 9pm.
Family Time Part Two
What did we learn today? Anyone remember the verse for the day? This is a time for everyone to process together, celebrate successes, and debrief in a smaller setting.
Extollo Time
Close & Worship Time
This is where we review the lesson, share photos, and close out our evening.
